A phone is a deeply complex device, yet almost anyone can make a phonecall, because someone packaged that complexity, the right way. I started VCAD to create that same experience with construction software. Making it simple enough, that anyone is able to create the results they need.
That is why we created VCAD. With experience in both IT and construction, we set out to rethink CAD from the ground up.
We build tools we want to use ourselves, tools that make the working day easier. So you can spend your time on the work itself.
Simple should not mean limited.
We build for people who need to make a drainage drawing occasionally and for those who work with survey data and terrain every day. There should be room for both in VCAD.
For us, simplicity is in the workflow. Our palettes are one example: choose what you want to draw, and the layer, colour and line style come with it.
